Radiation Detection and Identification

 

Morpho Detection‘s radiation detection and identification device represents the next generation of handheld Radiation Isotope Identification Devices (RIID). At 2   lbs. and small enough to be worn by personnel in the field, the device delivers class-leading radiation detection and identification technology in a lightweight, ultra-portable package. Utilizing Cadmium Zinc Telluride (CZT) gamma-ray detectors, this device classifies and identifies isotopes as well as provides the direction from which the radiation originates – in real time and in three dimensions.
