Emili TS

EMILI TS is an upgraded version of EMILI 2, which comprises lower false alarm rates and additional detection capability of liquids in metal / metallized containers due to an integrated weight sensor. EMILI TS can be either operated as  stand alone unit at  checkpoints, or in combination with X-ray conveyor systems.

In the “enhanced operation mode”, items detected as “suspicious” by the dual-mode sensor will automatically undergo an additional weight-based analysis: an orange screen with select boxes for container material (glass, plastic, metal) and the most common container volumes will pop up. Upon selection per touchscreen, EMILI TS will make the pass/fail decision within a second. This additional “orthogonal” liquid assessment enables a dramatic decrease of the FAR (alarm rate for false positives).
